Consumer information

Thank you for shopping with us at SANITINO. Below you will find all the important information that every customer should review before signing the contract. We have tried to write the information as clearly as possible and without unnecessary legalese.

Who we are:

  • We are the operator of the online store www.sanitino.se/en and SANITINO s.r.o., Id. No.: 275 45 423, Tax Id. No.: CZ27545423, a company with registered office at: Moravská 1259, 570 01 Litomyšl, Czech Republic, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Regional Court in Hradec Králové under file No. C 25289 (“SANITINO”), is the Seller.

  • You can also contact us by phone at +420 468 006 468; The customer service is located in the Czech Republic. Your telecommunication operator may charge higher rates for international phone calls than for domestic phone calls. 
  • Everyone pays their own costs for long-distance communication (telephone, email) – you pay your costs, SANITINO pays theirs. These costs do not differ from the standard rate.

How you can shop with us:

  • All product information is available at www.sanitino.se/en.
  • The contract is concluded online – i.e. remotely, in Swedish or in English.
  • The text of your order is stored in electronic form – we will send it to you on request.
  • The price of the goods is given in SEK and includes VAT, but after opening the item page you can also see the price excl. VAT.
  • Available payment methods:
    • cash on delivery payment to the carrier who will deliver the goods to you;
    • payment by bank transfer; or
    • online payment.
  • If the goods are to be customised, or if they are not in stock, we may require a deposit of 100% of the purchase price. Further details are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
  • We offer different types of transport – see www.sanitino.se/en/transport for details.
  • The price of shipping depends on the type of shipping you choose – you will find out the price before you send your order.
  • You order the goods by filling in the form in the online store, where you select the goods, the payment method and shipping method and fill in your details, and you can check and edit everything before confirming the order. After completing your order by clicking on “Order with obligation to pay” you will receive an automatic acknowledgment of receipt of the order  with a summary of your order and the Terms and Conditions. This email is generated automatically and does not represent a confirmation of execution of a contract with us. The contract is concluded once we send you an order acceptance confirmation, an invoice for the paid goods or a notice of dispatch of the goods, whichever occurs first.
  • Before submitting your order by clicking on the “Order with obligation to pay”, you can check and correct the filled-in data.

If you wish to withdraw from the contract:

  • You can withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receipt of the goods – please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further details.
  • In order to comply with the time limit for withdrawal from this contract, it is sufficient to send the notice of withdrawal before the expiry of the relevant time limit.
  • To withdraw from the contract, you can (you do not have to) use our web form available at: www.sanitino.se/en/returns-and-complaints. Using the form will make our job easier and the whole process faster.
  • You may not withdraw from a contract for the purchase of goods which (a) have been altered to your wishes, (b) are perishable, (c) have been irretrievably mixed with other goods after delivery, and (d) have been removed from their packaging and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
  • In the event of withdrawal, you are responsible for the cost related to the return of the goods.
  • Please note that in the case of withdrawal from the contract and the return of larger items (e.g. sanitary equipment, baths, shower cubicles), the shipping costs may be higher than the usual costs for small consignments. Costs vary according to size, weight and transport distance. For these cases, we recommend that you contact our customer service department before signing the contract to get an estimate of the shipping costs. You can also check with individual carriers for more information on return costs, e.g. here:
     
  • Please note that some items cannot be returned via the normal postal service due to their size or weight. In these cases, a specialised shipping company must be used. If you are not sure how to return the goods, we will be happy to advise you on the selection of a suitable carrier. We also recommend that you insure your shipment against damage during transport.
  • Once you have fulfilled the conditions for withdrawal and we have received the goods from you, we will refund the purchase price, including the cost of delivery of the goods (in the amount corresponding to the cheapest method of delivery), to the account from which you paid for the goods, unless we agree otherwise. If you have paid for the goods by cash on delivery, we will send the money to your selected account.
  • If the goods are returned to us damaged and the value of the goods has decreased, we are entitled to deduct from the refund amount a proportionate part of the price corresponding to the decrease in value of the goods.

 If the goods have defects:

  • We are liable for ensuring that the goods do not have defects upon takeover by the Buyer and that the goods have the properties and function agreed at the time of takeover.
  • Liability for defects does not apply (a) to wear and tear caused by normal use, (b) in the case of goods sold at a lower price, to the defect for which the lower price was set, (c) in the case of second-hand goods, to the defect corresponding to the level of use or wear and tear that the goods had when received, and (d) to wear and tear caused by improper treatment, weather conditions, improper handling or intentional damage.
  • If you find that the goods are defective, you can contact us:
      • o via the complaint form available here;
      • o via email sent to info@sanitino.se or in writing at SANITINO s.r.o., Accolade Funds Park Teplice South, Mlýnská 327, 417 52 Hostomice nad Bílinou, Czech Republic, indicating your name and surname, order number or tax receipt, identification of the goods, description of the defect and the claim.
  • Unless we inform you that we do not insist on this, and if it is possible due to the nature of the goods, you must send us the claimed goods for assessment. If the Seller subsequently accepts the complaint, we will pay you the cost of delivery of the goods in question, but only up to the amount of the cheapest method of delivery offered by us. Cash on delivery cannot be used as a method of delivering goods in relation to a complaint; we reserve the right to refuse to take over such consignment.
  • You may exercise your rights based on defective performance if the defect occurs in the goods within 36 months of receipt. If a defect manifests itself within 24 months of the takeover, the item is presumed to have already been defective upon takeover, unless excluded by the nature of the item or the defect. You have to claim a defect within 2 months from becoming aware of the defect.
  • Depending on the type and severity of the defect, you may require:
    • repair of the goods (removal of the defect) or replacement of the goods with new goods without defects – if this is possible and reasonable. You may choose to have the goods repaired or replaced, unless the chosen method is impossible or disproportionately expensive due to the nature of the defect (e.g. if the goods are missing a decorative sticker, we will supply you with such a sticker and will not replace the entire product).
    • a reasonable discount or withdrawal from the Purchase Contract – only if the defect is substantial and cannot be removed, or if the goods cannot be used properly due to the defect and we do not remove the defect even within an additional reasonable period of time, or if the defect occurs repeatedly or in substantial scope (e.g. if we have already repaired the goods twice and the same defect occurs for the third time).
    • compensation for damage you have suffered as a result of a defect or delay. However, you must always seek to limit and minimize the consequences of a defect or delay and we are not liable for damages that you suffer as a result of delays or defects that are caused by obstacles beyond our control.
  • We will process your claim within 30 days from the date you have claimed remedies for defective performance, unless we agree on a longer period and if this is possible under the circumstances.

If we provide a contractual warranty for the goods:

  • We provide a quality warranty for some goods beyond our legal obligation. With the quality warranty, we undertake that the goods will retain their usual properties and functionality for the duration of the warranty.
  • You can make a warranty claim either directly with the manufacturer or through us, just as you would with a regular product claim.
  • The manufacturer may impose specific conditions for compliance with the contractual warranty (e.g. installation by an authorised service provider, registration with the manufacturer or regular servicing).
  • The duration of the warranty is indicated on the goods and on the invoice or warranty certificate.

If there is a dispute between us:

  • In case of any consumer dispute following from the purchase contract that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, you may file an application for out-of-court resolution of such a dispute with an entity authorised to deal with out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes, specifically:
