A jigsaw is characterized by a thin, narrow blade that allows for precise and fine cuts, even in complex shapes. In our range, you can find a cordless jigsaw or an electric jigsaw. Both types have their advantages and disadvantages. In general, electric jigsaws are more powerful, but they can't be used where there is no access to electrical power.

How to choose an electric jigsaw?

Due to its flexibility and ability to make both straight and curved cuts, an electric jigsaw offers a solution for both DIY and professional users. They differ in terms of power, price, brand, and other aspects.

Power: When choosing an electric jigsaw, don’t forget about the motor power, which usually ranges from 400–800 W. For regular home tasks, lower-powered models are sufficient. For more demanding projects (or working with hard materials), choose an electric jigsaw with higher power, ideally with a pendulum function, which speeds up the cutting process by making the blade move not just up and down but also slightly forward and backward.

Stroke speed: Adjustable stroke speed is important to adapt to different materials. A lower stroke speed is useful for cutting hard materials, while a higher speed allows for fast cuts in soft wood or plastics.

Accessories and features: Many jigsaws offer the possibility of attachments and guide rails, which ensure more precise cuts. A quick-release system for easy blade changes is also popular. Some models come equipped with dust extraction or LED lighting for better visibility of the cutting line, improving comfort and work quality.

Ergonomics and safety: When working with a jigsaw, think about safety! Use protective glasses and follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions. If you want to make cutting more comfortable, choose an electric jigsaw with a comfortable ergonomic handle.
