Modern lines, reliability, and a wide range of practical improvements. These are just some of the features offered by the GROHE Grohtherm SmartControl concealed thermostatic bath mixer. The thermostat combines a square escutcheon with round control buttons and a handle, creating a unique modern design, elegantly complemented by a practical hand shower holder. This saves space while adding extra functionality. The brilliant chrome surfaces look impressive, and their shine is long-lasting thanks to GROHE StarLight technology. As it also provides high mechanical resistance and reduces the adhesion of water droplets and dirt, maintenance is quick, easy, and efficient.
The control system is thoughtfully designed to allow operation even with wet or soapy hands. The buttons and handle feature fine knurling and clear GROHE SmartControl symbols that reliably guide you to the desired function. A gentle press starts the water flow, while rotation adjusts it. You can select either the eco-friendly EcoJoy mode or full Full Flow. The symbols on the buttons are interchangeable, and multiple outlets can be operated simultaneously. Water temperature is set via the large handle. For temperatures above 38 °C, the GROHE SafeStop safety button must be released. For full functionality, the GROHE Rapido SmartBox installation body must be ordered separately.

Our revolutionary Grohe TurboStat technology delivers water at the desired temperature in a fraction of a second and keeps it constant throughout the shower. Grohtherm thermostats feature the most advanced and precision-engineered cartridges in the industry. The thermocouple has increased thermal sensitivity and our thermostats respond to changes in water pressure twice as fast as before. You no longer have to waste water to set the right temperature.
This innovative technology has been developed with perfect user-friendly simplicity in mind. At the touch of a button, you can simply switch the water flow on and off and turn the knob to regulate the temperature. The system remembers the set temperature and volume for future use. Simply press both buttons simultaneously to turn on the overhead and handheld shower heads. These buttons can also be used to switch and combine different spray modes.
This safety feature of GROHE thermostats allows you to set the maximum water temperature at 38 °C to prevent scalding. If this is not sufficient, the optional SafeStop Plus then serves as an additional safety feature at a temperature limit of 43 °C.
