Assess the size and layout of the space

Bathroom furniture is usually chosen only once you have divided the space and clearly decided where the bathtub, shower, or washbasin will go, so there is often not much room left for furniture and every square centimetre matters. Every tall bathroom cabinet is designed differently. Some feature open shelves, which are ideal for storing towels. Others have most of the storage space hidden behind doors. Installation method

The material matters too

We mainly offer tall bathroom cabinets made of wood with a finish that can withstand the bathroom environment, meaning an area with high humidity and sudden temperature changes. The most common materials are MDF, DTD, and LTD. LTD (laminated chipboard) is protected against moisture by foil or lacquer. The thicker the LTD board, the sturdier it is. MDF (medium-density fibreboard) resembles the appearance of solid wood even more because it has a denser structure. Here too, the surface is protected against moisture by lacquer or foil. DTD is chipboard made by compressing crushed material.

Do not compromise on style

The cabinets should have a consistent finish. White is a popular colour (both matte and glossy). Its advantage is that it is universal and commonly used, so in that case it matters less if the cabinets come from different ranges or different manufacturers. On the other hand, you may already have other bathroom fittings in this colour, so it may be better to choose bathroom furniture in a different shade for a change.
