Did you know that one person uses an average of 5 to 6 rolls of toilet paper per month? A toilet paper holder is definitely an essential household item, and it also plays a role in making our daily intimate hygiene more comfortable. So how do you choose the right toilet paper holder?

Freestanding or wall-mounted?

At SANITINO, we also offer a freestanding holder, also called a toilet paper stand. Its advantage is that you do not need to mount it on the wall, and it looks much more elegant than leaving the roll on the floor. This type of toilet paper stand is often sold as part of a set with a toilet brush.

However, the more common option is a toilet paper holder with wall mounting. With this type of holder, the toilet paper is easier to reach, and it does not get in the way on the floor.

OUR TIP: The right position matters. If the toilet paper holder is too high, children will not be able to reach it. If it is too low, you will have to bend unnecessarily when using it. Also, do not underestimate possible obstacles such as shelves, cabinets, or a radiator. Before installing a wall-mounted holder, sit on the toilet and determine the ideal position for mounting the toilet paper holder on the wall.

Material and colour

The most common material is chrome. This makes sense, as the material is stable in the air, does not corrode, and although almost everyone has chrome elements at home, whether on taps, handles, or furniture, it rarely becomes tiresome. The advantage of chrome is its understated elegance.

But that is not the only option. We also offer toilet paper holders made of brushed dark graphite, bronze, or other metals. So the choice of colours is equally varied. Design

There are many different styles of wall-mounted holders, so choose the one that suits you best. Some people prefer a toilet paper holder with a cover, where the toilet paper is only partly visible. Others prefer to see how much paper is left. In that case, they choose a type where the entire toilet roll is visible.
