Availability of the installation frame

At SANITINO, you can purchase a wall-hung toilet and then buy a suitable installation frame separately, or choose a toilet compatible with your existing pre-wall installation. It is important that both elements are mutually compatible. When selecting a mounting system, keep in mind that a wall-hung toilet for plasterboard walls requires a different installation than a module designed for masonry walls.

Size

A wall-hung toilet may appear smaller than a close-coupled toilet, but remember that an installation frame must also be installed. First, carefully measure the space in your toilet room to ensure that both elements will fit. A wall-hung toilet bowl can feature either a rimless flushing system or a rimmed flush. The former is the more modern option. A rimless wall-hung toilet has a specially shaped rim that directs the water flow precisely where needed. As a result, dirt and limescale do not accumulate under the rim, and the unsightly yellow-brown ring does not form. Such toilets are easier to clean. Another benefit is water savings.

Water consumption

When it comes to water consumption, wall-hung toilets have made significant progress. While not long ago toilets used up to eight liters of water per flush, today the standard is dual flushing, where the full flush uses 6 liters—or sometimes even just 4.5 liters. Concealed toilets may look delicate at first glance, but this is misleading. Virtually all toilets in our range are tested for high load capacity. Design and style

Today, it is common to choose a wall-hung toilet with aesthetics in mind. Manufacturers pay close attention to style, offering models with more angular or, conversely, more rounded designs. They also differ in color options. White still dominates, but you can now choose black, gray, gold, matte green, or beige toilets as well.
